A:To restore his sight.

Q: Why did Jesus say the man was born blind? 

A: So the power of God could be seen in him. 

Q: What did Jesus tell the blind beggar to do? 

A:To wash his eyes.

A:He put some spittle on his eyes and laid hands on him.
