A: Samson's strength came from God not his hair but his long uncut hair was the visible sign of his Nazirite vow a symbol of dedication and covenant with God. Q: What did the Philistine do to Samson?

 A:Samson loses his strength and he is captured by the Philistines who blind him by gounging out his eyes.
