Elisha Has Elijah's Spirit

  

Q: Why did the river divide  for   Elisha?  

A: The Jordan River divided for to miraculously confirm his succession as Elijah's prophetic  successor and to demonstrate that God's power and authority now resting upon him. 

 Q: Why couldn't the men find Elijah?

A: Fifty men could not find Elijah because he had been taken up to heaven alive by God in a whirlwind and a chariot of fire.
